   I use this for all the researching needs 24/7.

   It is an enclyopedia of info which i use as much as google. Although I use wiki more for non school related research, stuff i want to know just for fun.

   I watch videos, dramas, anime, movies etc. and listen to music here.

   This is another great site for all completed dramas (eg: not one's that are currently airing). Korean, Japanese, Cantonese....basically all asian dramas =D

   This is a gaming site, that allows you to play games with other people. =D

well thats all, I usually don't play much games, USUALLY! I much rather listen 2 music or watch something. =D

~Mourning For Brandon:Boy Addicted To The Computer~

I think that what Brandon's parents did was very rash, they should have come to a compromise with their son. Brandon is their son, as parents they should be able to find a medium that everyone can cope with. Also, i think what Mr. Crisp did was very wrong. Not only did he take away his computer privileges, he also helped his son pack, in hopes he will come back and that he's only bluffing. I think this was wrong of the parents. Sure, Brandon was getting too hooked on one game, but his parents could have sent him to therapy, or counselling. Overall, i feel this whole case started with a huge misunderstanding.

My issues at home with the computer is that I am on the computer too much. Some times it is for homework, but sometimes i am just on Youtube. My parents don't like it that some of my homework requires me to be on the computer, such as when i need to type out something, or reasearch. But, they hate it more when i am on the computer for no good reason. They really haven't done anything rash to stop me. They've taken away my laptop, once, but then again, ill still get it back, because i need to use it and the desktop is being used. They've yelled at me a few times, but it doesnt' bother me.
My parents have ABSOLUTELY no concern for my playing computer games, or online games, because i dont' play AT ALL! so thats a relief. Although, they are concerned that i listen to music while doing homework, but they dont' do too much about it.
Overall i think my parents are very fair with me.

I feel their concern is for my own good.

~My Take Your Kid To Work Day Experience~

Hello!

Yesterday was take your kid to work day, and now i have to write about it.

I went to CICC Computers Inc. Its a computer store owned by my mom's friend. So I went with her, the manager. At the store, I greeted customers, and observed how they would sell products to them. I couldn't help at selling customers because my knowledge in computers (parts, programs) is extremely MINIMAL! I got treated to lunch, and I also was able to go on the computer. I also did some paper work, and filing. (fun! XD)

I really cannot see myself owning a computer store, or working as job HIGHLY related to computers, like networking or as a sales. I don't see my self in this field because i know my knowledge in this area is very low, and also finding good jobs in this area is also hard. I also know that this work is very tedious, and i would like a job that i enjoy doing, and I am not so interested in computer(parts etc etc.)

I would have LOVED to go to a secretarial job, such as working with an assistant in a doctor's office, or any office. I would have liked to go to City Hall, or to a Bank - where many people went to. I would like to do a hands on job.

Future jobs i think i might do, is follow in the steps of my mom or dad. They work in financial area and also the chemistry area(pharmaceutical area). If I follow my mom, I would like to be a pharmasist, or if i go with my dad, there are many choices .

From this experience, i learned that working a sale, you need to know a variety of things. Not only the product or area you work in ,but also topics you can talk about with your customers.
In this workplace, the people are very friendly, and helpful. They try their best to assist the customers with whatever they need. Skills I learn in school that help with this field, included languages (french,english and chinese) because you must be able to talk with the customers.

Take your kid to work day was exteremly fun, i hope in the future we get to experience it again. Maybe even as Co-op.

But, im not sure about the date, so i might be wrong.
DUN DUN DUH! report cards are coming out DECEMBER 1!! the first monday of december! GASP! so.. it is only 25 days away! PANIC!

Community Center Concert:
I don't know, all we know is that it is on a Friday in December (right?) If so, than...
23 days - November 28
30 days - December 5
37 days - December 12
The concert is on the 12 of december.
it is only 36 days away!!! =D

Winter Concert:
I don't know when it is, thus I cannot countdown >.< still don't know, i should've asked.

Christmas Dance/Candy Grams:
-date unknown this will probably be somewhere during the last week of december.

Christmas Break:
44 days away! (counting that the 1st day of break is December 20)

Christmas:
49 days!!! WOOT!

New Years Eve:
55 days!!! OMG! there are only 56 days left in 2008

New Years 2009:
56 days!!!

*At Work*

Today is take your kid to work day!
I had so much fun, and i was able to go on a com, since i was at a com store.
BUT i can't wiat to go back to school tomorrow.....its lonely here XD
and extremely quiet, i like school, very alive.

i wonder how everyone else work day went?

What I Think Of Alien Hoaxes

Hi! oooo.... ALIENS!

When people believed in the hoax, that was 70 years ago. I think now with today's technology people won't be as easily fooled. Some will be able to tell the different between a fake alien, created by illusions, or holograms etc. However, I also think that because our technology is so plentiful today, some may not be able to tell differences, in real and hoaxes. All in all, I think for me to believe there are alien hoaxes, I must see or hear what the others are saying in the news before I can really make a decision as to Aliens.

My First Ever Entry!

Hi to whomever reads this blog!

Thanks for taking the time to read this blog. I have created this blog becuase it is an assignment for BTT, but I think this is an AWESOME thing to do.
So a little about me.
I use the computer everyday, but I am definately not a computer person. I only know simple functions: internet, msn, homework purposes...etc.
My computer skills:

• Photoshop - I just learned it, and I would say my skills are... Okay.
• I do hope I'll get a good mark on the project.
• Microsoft Word/Power Point/Excel - I can say I am pretty good with these three microsoft applications.
• Flash - Poor, very very poor. I will need to pay attention when we learn this. I think this part of the course will be very fun! :)
• Publisher - Okay; only used it around 4-5 times.
• HTML - I have NO IDEA how to use HTML. Help!
• Tel - Good - Excellent skills
• Typing - heh... I can only type so well....

Okay well those are my skills....I think I am an average computer user?

Most of the time I use the computer for email, I LOVE to be on msn, & TEL!! Sadly, I have never made my own website, and I don't think I'm very intereseted to do one.
I CANNOT build a computer, obviously. >.<
On the computer I like to go on YouTube to listen to music and watch dramas =D. I go on Facebook maybe once a week,sometimes more, sometimes less.

Hmm, I hope I haven't wrote too much. I like to ramble...:)
